Topic/Agenda: Steve Brewer talks on Authenticating a wireless network
I've spent the past month exploring two systems for building a gateway that requires wireless users to authenticate before giving them access to the network: One is NoCatAuth:
http://nocat.net/download/NoCatAuth/
and the other is the Authentication Gateway:http://www.itlab.musc.edu/~nathan/authentication_gateway/ I've set up both systems and have developed a presentation that describes our goals for using such a system and a comparison between the two systems. I will run through the presentation and then provide a hands-on demo of the two systems/
For this presentation, we should plan to meet:
in the Biology Computer Resouce Center (347 Morrill Science Center, UMass). (directions below)
Linux Help: Bring your problems and questions to challenge us all. Closing at the Bar next door: and (as usual) we will adjourn to the pub when we run down.
Ongoing Discussions: Finding speakers WeMaLu Logo needed: I just threw this in since we had such a great demo day poster
